Plain English Summary
- We are in beta — all tools are free during this phase. We are actively developing and things may change. We will give reasonable notice before major changes.
- AI outputs may be wrong — always verify AI-generated content before relying on it. We are not responsible for inaccuracies.
- Be respectful — do not use the tools for illegal purposes, to generate harmful content, or to abuse the infrastructure. Fair use helps everyone.
- Your data is yours — but your prompts are processed by third-party AI providers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
1. Acceptance
By using Recentech Studio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.
2. Service Description
Recentech Studio provides AI-powered tools including chat, translation, mind mapping, tutoring, content creation, and more. We are currently in beta, which means: features and availability may change as we improve the platform, some features may be added or removed, and we appreciate your patience and feedback as we grow.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at recentechstudio@gmail.com.
4. Authentication
We support the following sign-in methods:
- Google OAuth
- GitHub OAuth
- Email OTP (one-time password via Resend)
You are responsible for securing your credentials and authentication methods.
5. Acceptable Use
Please use the service responsibly. You must NOT:
- Use the services for any illegal purpose
- Generate content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
- Attempt to overwhelm or abuse the infrastructure (e.g., automated scraping, excessive API calls)
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying technology
- Use the service to violate the rights of others
If we detect abusive behavior, we will attempt to contact you before taking action where possible.
6. AI Disclaimer
AI-generated content may not be accurate
- AI outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading
- Always verify AI-generated information before relying on it
- You use AI results at your own risk
- Do not substitute AI output for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.)
7. AI Provider Selection
We use multiple AI providers to balance quality, speed, and cost: Google Gemini, Cloudflare Workers AI, Groq, Z.ai, and Hugging Face. In AI Chat, you can manually choose your preferred provider (Gemini, Llama, GLM, Hugging Face, or Groq) and mode (Fast or Smart). For tools, the system automatically routes to the best available provider. We may change providers or models as the service evolves, and we will make reasonable efforts to maintain or improve quality when doing so.
8. Data Responsibility
You are solely responsible for any data you submit to the service. We do not control how third-party AI providers process your data. We strongly recommend avoiding the submission of sensitive personal information (passwords, financial details, health records, etc.) to any AI tool.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Data loss or corruption
- Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
- Actions or omissions of third-party AI providers
- Temporary service interruptions (especially during beta)
- Security breaches despite our reasonable efforts
- Any indirect or consequential damages
During beta, the service is provided free of charge, which further limits our liability. We are a small project and cannot assume financial responsibility for issues arising from free beta software.
10. Service Availability
The service is provided on an "as available" basis, especially during beta. We strive for reliability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance. Features may change as we iterate on the product.
11. Service Modifications
We may modify, add, or remove features as the service evolves. For significant changes (such as introducing paid plans after beta), we will provide advance notice via email or in-app notifications. Minor improvements and bug fixes may be made without separate notice.
12. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for abusive purposes. For non-critical violations, we will attempt to contact you and provide an opportunity to address the issue before taking action. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.
13. Policy Changes
We may update these Terms as the service grows. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Beta-Specific Terms
While the service is in beta, the following additional terms apply:
- All tools are free with daily usage limits
- Features and limits may change more frequently than after beta
- We may reset or restructure data (such as chat history) during major updates
- Paid plans are planned for the future — pricing will be communicated before launch
- Your feedback is valuable and helps shape the product
